Sharpen your knife skills with Chris Williams during this hands-on experience in the Artist Cottage kitchen. Williams will showcase different varieties of Williams Knife Co. kitchen knives and demonstrate fundamental safety tips, sharpening techniques, and maintenance that will improve accuracy and speed. Through this essential knife skills workshop, participants will leave with newfound (or refreshed!) knowledge to slice-and-dice like a pro.
Feel free to bring your own knives to sharpen during the workshop.
To those that have never foraged before, it can seem like an overwhelming experience. The trick is to make sure you have an expert to help you in the process. Join Chris Williams and Jay Walea, Palmetto Bluff Conservancy Director, for a unique outing to learn the ins-and-outs of how to forage wild edibles—with people who know the area, the land, and the difference between safe and not safe. Afterward, dig into a field lunch deep in the woods of Palmetto Bluff—a revered tradition at the Bluff.
Meet at the Outfitters. A Williams Knife Co. knife is included in the ticket price.
